The GOGLA Pitchbook has been an amazing resource, it's helped us discover companies that we might not have seen otherwise, understand them really quickly in a snapshot, and find ways get conversations started. As investors, we're always looking for more opportunities and more lenses and perspectives on the market that we might not have considered before. We've already started to have conversations with companies that we discovered through the Pitchbook, and think about countries differently that maybe were not immediately obvious.

As a result of participating in the first Pitchbook at GOGSFE 2024, we are in the position to land an RBF scheme from the World Bank. In addition, we signed two contracts with local MFI for end-user financing.

How is the Pitchbook supported?

The Pitchbook is supported by COMESA, the Rockefeller Foundation and GET.invest a European programme mobilising investment in renewable energy, co-funded by the European Union, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Austria.

Who is GOGLA?

GOGLA is the global off-grid solar association. We represent the leading organisations delivering clean, affordable energy to underserved communities worldwide.We bring together companies, investors, governments and partners to grow the off-grid solar sector and reach the people who need energy most. Drawing on our data and insights on market trends and best practices, we inform policy and investment decisions and advocate for the conditions needed to scale. Together with our members, we are building a strong, responsible industry that creates jobs and economic opportunity.Off-grid solar solutions are already improving the lives of more than 560 million people worldwide, powering homes, businesses, farms, schools and clinics. GOGLA and its’ members are building on this progress to Power 1 Billion Lives Now.

Who has access to the Pitchbook, and how is the data kept secure?

The only people who can view all the company data are investors. Linda Yunia, Investment Readiness Manager at GOGLA, confirms the identity of each individual investor before granting access. Each investor has a login that works with their (business) email and a personal password.

Participating companies are not permitted to see the data from other companies. GOGLA will only use the information that is voluntarily provided by companies.

I represent a GOGLA member company and would like to be featured in the Pitchbook. How can I get started?

Please start here. This survey asks that you provide up-to-date and relevant information about your company, which will take approximately 25 minutes to complete.

I represent an Off-Grid company and would like to be featured, but we are not GOGLA members. Is it still possible?

A perk of GOGLA membership is the ability to be featured in the pitchbook (at no additional cost). There will be an exception in 2026: for a limited time, non-GOGLA-member companies that are attending The Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo 2026 will have an opportunity to have their profile listed. We are always open to new companies joining GOGLA – start here to become a new GOGLA member.

As a company, how will I know if an investor is interested in me?

If an investor expresses interest in your profile, they can be in touch with the company directly. There is no middle-man, unless the investor requests GOGLA to step in to make introductions.

I no longer want my company’s information on the Pitchbook. How can I opt out?

You can opt out of the Pitchbook at any time. Please email Linda at l.yunia@gogla.org with “Opt-Out” in the subject line.
